IP addresses are an effective alternative to third-party data. Instead of relying on cookies, company and network IP addresses can be used to build audience segments. These are not limited to B2B segments \u2014 they can also be used to create B2C audiences.<\/p>\n

An example of a B2C segment based on IP addresses could be students<\/strong> when they are connected to their educational institution\u2019s network, or hotel guests<\/strong> when they are using the hotel\u2019s guest Wi-Fi. It is also possible to create affluent audience segments<\/strong>, consisting for example of accountants, lawyers, IT consultants, and business consultants.<\/p>\n
