At Targeted, we recommend the HTML5 format for banners, as all browsers support this format, maximizing the number of possible impressions.<\/p>\n

If the banner includes video or streaming, the following requirements must be met:
\u2022 Streaming must start on mouse-over or click and stop on mouse-out.
\u2022 Streaming should begin 1\u20132 seconds after mouse-over.
\u2022 Audio must be user-activated via a mute\/unmute button.
\u2022 A visible stop\/play\/(pause) button must be included.
\u2022 Streaming files must not exceed 2.5 MB in size.
\u2022 The maximum frame rate is 18 frames per second.
\u2022 Video streaming must not exceed 30 seconds.
\u2022 WebTV prerolls must have a maximum duration of 20 seconds (.flv, mpeg4, .mov, or movie file).<\/p>\n

Required File Structure for Campaigns in Adform<\/strong><\/p>\n

Adform has specific requirements for the structure of HTML5 banners, which you can find here.<\/p>\n

HTML5 banners for use in Adform must be submitted as a ZIP file.<\/p>\n

The ZIP file must include the following:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. A metadata file named manifest.json. This file defines banner parameters such as name, description, size, events, clicktags, and source. These parameters are analyzed and registered in Adform when the ZIP file is uploaded. See an example.<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Adding clickTAG Variables<\/strong><\/p>\n

    You can add clickTAGs to HTML5 banners in various ways.<\/p>\n

    It is essential to always include the Adform.DHTML.js library in the document’s header.<\/p>\n

    See examples of how to add a clickTAG \u201cinstance\u201d to specific elements in an HTML document and to different frame sources, etc.<\/a><\/p>\n

    The main message must always be centered and remember that the message is not viewed in a single image but rather through scrolling.<\/p>\n

    NATIVE ADVERTISING<\/strong><\/p>\n

    With native advertising, you as the advertiser provide a headline, image, URL (where the traffic should be directed), logo, etc. The media outlet then creates a banner incorporating these components into a design that matches the media platform and the context in which the ad will appear.<\/p>\n

    Sometimes, the media outlet creates multiple banner variations depending on factors such as visual coherence, available space, and the type of device on which the ad will be displayed.<\/p>\n

    As a result, users will always see an ad that seamlessly fits into the surrounding context.<\/p>\n
